CPR and AED trainers undertake a four hour initial training session to achieve a Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support and the use of an Automatic External Defibrillator. Having passed this course to a good standard we will begin to use you to support CPR/AED training events during daytime and evening sessions, with the expectation that you will be able to run courses on your own after a couple of months. Beyond this point we would hope you will run at least half a dozen 90 minute sessions in a year.
Trainers will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check in order to be able to work in schools.
